Sudbury Open Gardens is a community-driven charity fundraising event where the residents of Sudbury "unlock their gates" to the public, offering a rare glimpse into hidden horticultural gems.
This event allows visitors to wander through a diverse range of spaces, from manicured formal gardens and productive vegetable patches to small, creative courtyards and everything in between.
Buying a ticket to the event will gain you access to all participating gardens, provide you a map of where to go, and give information on our amazing sponsors and supporters.
Sudbury Open Gardens can only happen with the help of our fantastic community. We need:

The event goes ahead whatever the weather. We recommend bringing suitable clothing and footwear. Gardens may be slippery when wet, so please take care.

Accessibility varies from garden to garden. Check each garden’s listing on our map for information about paths and access. If you have specific needs, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
Some of our gardens may have refreshments available, but please check with the garden owner before you visit. You can also use our map page and filter options to find gardens with refreshments.
